What it is

GobyMeds is a cash-pay telehealth service that sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide and also offers brand-name GLP-1s, with no subscription. Its FAQ names Zepbound, Mounjaro, Wegovy and Ozempic as brand-name options [1]. It also sells testosterone, hair-loss and longevity products.

What it prescribes

Both kinds. Prescriptions go to 503A or 503B partner pharmacies licensed in your state [2]. The FDA labels for Mounjaro and Ozempic are written for type 2 diabetes [24] [25]; see what each GLP-1 is approved for.

GobyMeds’ own pages say its compounded drugs are not reviewed or approved by FDA for safety or efficacy [3]. FDA says the same of all compounded drugs [23]. A compounded vial is a different product from a brand-name pen.

What it costs

GobyMeds says it charges no membership fee [13]. The brand-name drugs have one monthly price each. Compounded drugs come as single months or three-month bundles.

The starter bundles are for first-time patients. Later 3-month bundles are priced by the highest weekly dose in the plan [10]. The home page’s “starting at” figures may reflect those multi-month or introductory bundles [11]. The pricing page also still shows promo prices with a code that it says ran through December 31, 2025 [12].

The brand-name prices are far above the makers’ own cash programs. LillyDirect lists Zepbound pens from $449 a month even at the top dose, for refills on time [21]. NovoCare Pharmacy lists a month of Wegovy 2.4 mg pens at $349 [22]. Check our savings check before paying more.

GobyMeds says it offers care in all 50 states [15]. It adds that products, prices and availability may vary by location [16].

Signing up and cancelling

There is no subscription and no auto-renewal. Each order covers up to three months of medicine [17]. Your card is charged after a provider writes the prescription [18]. You may be able to cancel only if the prescription has not yet gone to the pharmacy [19]. After that, GobyMeds treats every prescription as final sale with no refund [20]. Safety and regulatory record

A search of FDA’s warning letter database for GobyMeds, Goby Health and its web address returned no warning letter when this page was updated. The brand-name drugs it lists are FDA-approved; its compounded drugs are not [23].

Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere

GobyMeds suits a cash buyer who wants compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide without a subscription and is happy to reorder each time. Look elsewhere for Wegovy or Zepbound if price matters, because the makers’ own programs list much lower cash prices, and look elsewhere if you want insurance to pay.
