What it is

Lemme is a supplement brand that sells gummies and capsules online. Its GLP-1 product is a capsule of plant extracts, and Lemme’s own product page says it is a dietary supplement that contains no GLP-1 and is not a GLP-1 agonist drug [1]. In other words, it is not in the same category as Wegovy, Zepbound or Foundayo, which are prescription medicines.

What it sells

The capsule combines 3 branded extracts: saffron (Supresa), red orange (Morosil) and lemon (Eriomin) [3]. Lemme says it is not a weight-loss supplement but is meant to support weight management [2]. The page carries the standard supplement notice that FDA has not evaluated its claims and that it is not meant to treat any disease [4].

That notice matters. FDA does not approve dietary supplements for safety or effectiveness, and many reach the market without FDA being told [11].
