Midi Health review

A menopause-focused telehealth practice that bills per visit, takes most PPO plans and sends brand-name GLP-1 prescriptions to your own pharmacy. It also sells its own compounded GLP-1s and posts no price for brand-name drugs.

What it is

Midi Health is a telehealth practice for women in perimenopause and menopause, and weight care is one of its services. Its clinicians are trained in women’s health and weight management, according to Midi [1]. There is no membership fee [2]. You pay for each visit, through insurance or as a self-pay patient, and the medicine is priced separately from the visit [3].

What it prescribes

Both brand-name and compounded drugs. Midi prescribes brand-name GLP-1s and sends the prescription to the pharmacy you choose [4]. It does not publish a list of which brands. Its help center gives Zepbound and Wegovy as examples of GLP-1s approved for weight loss, and says these drugs are typically for people with a BMI over 30, or over 27 with a weight-related condition such as high blood pressure [5]. Midi also sells its own compounded drugs: a GLP-1 and a “dual-action” GLP-1/GIP, each as an injection or as a sublingual form taken under the tongue [6] [7] [8] [9]. They come from partner compounding pharmacies that Midi says are licensed and 503A-accredited [10]. Midi’s own fine print says compounded medications are not FDA-approved and that FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality [11]. FDA says the same on its own page [12]. A compounded GLP-1 is a separate product, not a copy of any brand-name pen.

Midi also advertises a microdosing program, with weekly doses from $34 for eligible patients [13]. For the doses on the FDA labels, see our dosing guide. Its shop sells a supplement called Daily GLP-1 Support, pitched as something to pair with GLP-1 therapy [14]. A supplement is not a GLP-1 medicine.

What it costs

Visits come first. Midi is in-network with most PPO plans, and your deductible, coinsurance and copay depend on your plan [15]. Without insurance, the first 30-minute visit is $250 and each 15-minute return visit is $150 [16]. HSA or FSA money can pay for visits and services [17]. Midi does not say how often you need a follow-up visit, so a yearly cost cannot be worked out from its pages.

Midi posts no price for brand-name drugs. Your cost depends on your insurance and the pharmacy’s price [18]. Midi says it works with you and your pharmacy to get medicines covered when possible [19]. Compounded prices are all posted, per 4-week supply, and include shipping and supplies [20]:

  • GLP-1 injection: $165.90 at the lowest doses, up to $355.00 at 2.5 mg [6].
  • GLP-1/GIP injection: $210.00 up to $434.00 [7].
  • GLP-1 sublingual: $164.00 up to $275.00 [8].
  • GLP-1/GIP sublingual: $209.00 up to $460.00 [9].

Midi’s help center says its Custom Rx line, which covers weight-management products shipped from Midi’s own formulary [21], is typically not covered by insurance [22].

Signing up and cancelling

With no membership fee, there is no plan to cancel [2]. Refills are orders you place yourself in the patient portal, and when you run out of refills you book another visit [25]. To avoid a cancellation fee, change or cancel a visit at least 24 hours ahead; Midi does not state the fee [26]. Prescription treatments cannot be refunded or returned [27]. Where it operates

Midi’s weight page says it is available in all 50 states [28], and its help center says the same [29]. But a June post on Midi’s blog about its GLP-1 programs ends with the line “Not available in all 50 states” [30]. The compounded products have limits too. Midi’s help center says one partner pharmacy does not ship its Custom Rx products to South Carolina or Arkansas, and the other does not ship to Arkansas or Alabama [31]. It does not say which pharmacy fills compounded GLP-1 orders.

Safety and regulatory record

GLPLens searched FDA’s warning-letter database in September 2026 for Midi, Midi Health and joinmidi and found no letter to this company. The main point to weigh is the compounded line. A Midi blog post calls compounded GLP-1s generally safe for most people when used as prescribed [32], while FDA stresses that it does not review compounded drugs before they are sold [12]. Because Midi sells compounded GLP-1s, GLPLens does not link to it.

Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere

Midi may suit a woman in midlife with PPO insurance who wants one clinician for menopause symptoms and weight, and who plans to fill a brand-name prescription at her own pharmacy. Look elsewhere if you have Medicaid, if you want a posted cash price for a brand-name drug, or if you want to avoid compounded products altogether.
