What it is

Polly is a cash-pay telehealth service for compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide. It used to trade as Piper, and its site still says so in the page title [1].

Polly describes itself as a platform: it links patients with independent licensed providers and pharmacies rather than employing them [2]. The weight-loss menu sits next to non-GLP-1 add-ons such as NAD+ and sermorelin.

What it prescribes

Compounded GLP-1 injections only. There is no FDA-approved brand-name drug such as Wegovy or Zepbound on its menu. FDA says compounded drugs are not FDA approved and are not reviewed for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are sold [15]. Polly says its orders are made by licensed 503A compounding pharmacies and names Hallandale Pharmacy and VialsRx among them [3].

What it costs

Polly posts its prices in help-center articles, not on its home page. Longer plans lower the monthly figure but are paid up front.

The price covers the drug, shipping, the consultation and follow-up care, and it stays the same when the dose goes up [6]. Polly says it charges no membership fee [7]. A 6-month tirzepatide plan at $199 a month is one charge of $1,194 [8].

Where it operates

Polly says its providers and partner pharmacies cover all 50 states [12].

Signing up and cancelling

The month-to-month plan is the flexible choice. Polly says the 3- and 6-month plans are not refundable after the first month [9]. If you end a multi-month plan early, you lose the discount and are charged the standard monthly price for what already shipped [10].

Once your prescription reaches the pharmacy, that order cannot be cancelled or refunded [13]. To stop a plan, you ask Polly by email; the plan then runs to the end of the billing cycle and does not renew [14]. See our guide to cancelling a GLP-1 program.

Safety and regulatory record

A search of FDA’s warning letter database for Polly, its former name Piper, and its legal name Piper Wellness returned no warning letter when this page was updated. The general FDA caution on compounded drugs still applies to everything Polly sells [15].

Polly suits someone who has chosen a compounded drug with a prescriber and wants to pay month to month with no membership fee.
