Trimi review

What it is

Trimi is an online weight-loss service that sells compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide after a provider reviews your health history [1]. It is cash only, and the plan price bundles the drug, supplies, provider care and shipping.

The prescribers are not Trimi employees. The company says it connects patients with licensed providers through a partner, Arora Health [2].

What it prescribes

Only compounded drugs. The menu has no Wegovy, Zepbound or other FDA-approved brand-name medicine. FDA says compounded drugs are not FDA approved and are not reviewed for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are sold [16]. Trimi names the two pharmacies that make its orders, BelieveRx and GreenwichRx, and describes both as 503A pharmacies [3].

What it costs

Each plan has one price for every dose of the chosen drug, so a dose increase does not raise the bill [4]. Longer plans cut the monthly figure, but you pay for the whole term at once.

Where it operates

Trimi says its partner’s clinicians hold licenses in all 50 states plus DC [11].

Signing up and cancelling

You pay for the full billing period at checkout, before a provider has looked at your answers [12]. Once the prescription is written, the order cannot be undone [13]. On a monthly plan, stopping renewals is all you need to do. On a longer plan, stopping renewals does not end the term you already bought [14].

Safety and regulatory record

A search of FDA’s warning letter database for Trimi and its web address returned no warning letter when this page was updated. That does not make compounded drugs equal to approved ones. The FDA point above still applies to every compounded product Trimi sells [16].

Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere

Trimi fits someone paying cash who has already decided with a prescriber that a compounded drug is right, and who values a flat, published price.
